This small plot remains in the shadow of its august neighbour Gevrey-Chambertin. And yet, when we taste it, we sense it possesses all the qualities of a great wine. We find the “earth” aspect of the soils in the minerality, the tightly-knit structure and the chalky finish. Fullness of fruit ideally envelops it all. Overall, this is a robust, fruity, fresh wine.
